This is excellent news for those of us whitewater rafters in California. This next spring, the snow melt from these storms will fill the Chili Bar and Oxbow reservoirs, and water releases from these two reservoirs into such rivers as the South Fork American River and Middle Fork American River should provide some excellent rafting.
