Kirkwood Mountain Resort is a popular ski and snowboard destination located about 45 minutes south of South Lake Tahoe. Kirkwood is approximately 33 miles south of Stateline, Nevada and South Lake Tahoe on State Route 88 and is contained within the Eldorado National Forest.

Kirkwood Mountain Resort offers a broad spectrum of intermediate and advanced terrain.Kirkwood is best known for it’s high average snowfalls and boasts 2 miles of ridgeline at the top making Kirkwood popular for cliff drops and cornice skiing. The terrain is 15% Beginner, 50% Intermediate and 35% Advanced.
