The Mammoth Mountain Ski Area is a large ski resort located on the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range in Inyo National Forest. Mammoth is best known for it’s long season (Nov – June), high annual snowfall and averaging 300 days of sunshine per year. According to Transworld Snowboarding, Mammoth Mountain has the best terrain park and is consistently ranked in the top ten ski resorts by Ski Magazine.
