California Weekend Snow Report

Good morning California snow riders. We’ve got a beautiful weekend ahead of us. There is 20% possibility of a little precip. in the Lake Tahoe Basin and Central Sierra Mountains on Saturday and mostly sunny skies on Sunday. Southern California ski resorts are looking at a bluebird weekend and lots of corduroy.

Weekend Weather Forecast – January 11 – 12, 2008

North Lake Tahoe: Alpine Meadows, Boreal, Northstar, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl

  • Saturday, 20% chance of snow above 6500 feet, highs ranging 35 -45.
  • Sunday, mostly sunny skies with highs around 45.

South Lake Tahoe: Heavenly, Kirkwood, Sierra at Tahoe

  • Saturday, 20% chance snow above 6500 feet highs 35 -45.
  • Sunday, mostly sunny skies with highs around 45.

Central Sierra: Bear Valley, Mammoth, Sierra Summit

  • Saturday, 20% chance of snow above 6500 feet highs near 37.
  • Sunday, mostly sunny skies with highs around 45.

Southern California: Alta Sierra, Big Bear, Mt Baldy, Mt High

  • Mostly sunny, with daytime temps between 45 – 50 all weekend long.
